Mairead Small Staid is a MacDowell Fellow and a graduate of the Helen Zell Writers’ Program at the University of Michigan, where she received Hopwood Awards in nonfiction and poetry. Recent work can be found in AGNI, The Believer, The Georgia Review, Kenyon Review, Narrative, Ninth Letter, and Ploughshares.
