Patrick A. Howell and Richard Kraft

Richard Kraft’s exhibitions include the Charlie James Gallery, LA Louver, Rosamund Felsen, and Greg Kucera, as well as museum, university and non-profit art spaces, including the Portland Art Museum, the Laguna Art Museum, Bemis Center for Contemporary Art, the Ruffin Gallery at the University of Virginia, Occidental College, and Printed Matter, among others. He has produced a number of works for Siglio Press, including an artist’s book, Here Comes Kitty: A Comic Opera and several artist’s multiples. He recently co-edited the first complete volume of John Cage’s Diary: How to Improve the World (You Will Only Make Matters Worse). Publications include BOMB, Bookforum, Carousel among other journals, and in 2016 his work was featured in The New Collage Book, a comprehensive survey published by Gestalten.

Patrick A. Howell is an award-winning banker, entrepreneur and poet. His first poems were published with the UC Berkeley African American Literary Review. At Cal Berkeley, he co-founded Diatribe, a “People of Color News Collective”. Mr. Howell has contributed to the Huffington Post, Los Angeles Review of Books, and Poetry Foundation. He has been cited on such national platforms as NBC BLK and The Grio. He is drafting Quarter ’til Judgement Day, a debut coming of age experimental work of fiction. Dispatches from the Vanguard, a creative non-fiction debut about the 5th Estate of American power was just released through London’s Repeater Books.  He lives in Carlsbad with his family, Jack Russell Fox Terrier Trinidad and loves watching his son Sharkheart swim and run.
