Holly Pester is a poet mostly living in London. Her book, go to reception and ask for Sara in red felt tip (Book Works 2015) is a collection of archive fan-fictions, written in residence at the Women’s Art Library. Her album and poetry pamphlet, Common Rest (Test Centre 2016) is a collection of collaborative lullabies and sound poems. She has performed work at the Serpentine Galleries and the ICA, London; dOCUMENTA 13, Kassel; FIAC! Paris. She has led workshops at the RCA, London and the Piet Zwart Institute, Rotterdam and is lecturer in Poetry and Performance at University of Essex. Pester is currently working on a new poetry collection on abortivity, fish markets and bog butter.
