Weng Pixin & Sarah Wang

Weng Pixin was born and raised in sunny Singapore. She grew up listening to stories from her father, who was curious about the way the world works. In turn, when it comes to her art, Pixin loves to create semi-autobiographical comics that reflect her curious nature too. Her debut graphic novel, Sweet Time, was published by Drawn & Quarterly in 2020. Her second graphic novel, Let’s Not Talk Anymore, was published in 2021.

Sarah Wang is a writer and editor in New York. She has written for the London Review of Books, Harper’s Bazaar, The Nation, American Short Fiction, BOMB, The New Republic, n+1, and The Los Angeles Review of Books, among other publications. She is a 2021-2022 PEN America Writing for Justice Fellow, a Tin House Scholar, the winner of a Nelson Algren prize for fiction, the recipient of a City Artist Corps Grant, and a former fellow at the Center for Fiction, the Asian American Writers’ Workshop Witness Program, and Kundiman’s Mentorship Program.
