Sasha Archibald

Sasha Archibald writes non-fiction essays about 20th-century aesthetics and visual culture. Her work has appeared in Cabinet, The Believer, East of Borneo, Rhizome, Night Papers, Modern Painters, X-TRA, The New Inquiry, Mladina, Los Angeles Review of Books, and many other magazines, and in a number of books and catalogues. She is also a curator and arts worker, with administrative and curatorial experience at various non-profit arts organizations, including the Oakland Museum of California, Machine Project, Momenta Art, Bronx Museum of the Arts, and most recently, in Los Angeles, as Director of Public Programs at Clockshop. She was a curatorial fellow in the Whitney Museum Independent Study Program, and is an editor-at-large at Cabinet magazine. She teaches critical studies at Pacific Northwest College of the Arts (PNCA) in Portland, Oregon.
