Adam Zagajewski

Adam Zagajewski was born in Lvov in 1945. His previous books include Tremor (1985), Canvas (1992), Mysticism for Beginners (1997), Without End (2002), Solidarity, Solitude (1990), Two Cities (1995), Another Beauty (2000), In Defense of Ardor (2002), and Eternal Enemies (2008). He lives in Chicago and Krakow. “Kings,” in this issue, is forthcoming from Unseen Hand: Poems, to be published by Farrar, Straus and Giroux, LLC, in June.
