In addition to her opera fandom column at The Paris Review Daily, her writing on music, culture, and cultural history has appeared at The NewYorker.com, Harper’s, Lapham’s Quarterly, The Guardian, Longreads, The Atlantic, L.A. Review of Books, New Republic, Hyperallergic, VAN Magazine, and other publications. She teaches writing at The New School and Catapult.
