Deenah Vollmer is a writer living in Brooklyn. Her work has appeared in The New Yorker, N+1, Guernica Daily, Interview Magazine, and she won the L Magazine’s Literary Upstart contest for short fiction. Last year she lived in Berlin on a Fulbright grant for journalism. This year she plays the pizza box in The Pizza Underground, a pizza-themed Velvet Underground cover band and variety show.
