Sara Roffino is an editor, writer, and researcher covering art and the art market since 2012. She was the managing editor of the Brooklyn Rail from 2013–15, and the senior/executive editor of Art+Auction from 2015–17, in addition to working as a freelance editor and researcher for artists, art historians, academics, and others. Her writing has appeared in Art+Auction, the Brooklyn Rail, Modern Painters, Cultured, Bomb.com, Artnet News, Galerie, The Art Newspaper, Artsy, and Observer.com among other publications. She has a bachelor’s degree in journalism, a master’s in education, speaks Spanish and Portuguese, and is currently a candidate for a master’s in art history at Hunter College. In 2009–10, she lived in Lisbon on a Fulbright.
