The Corey Helford Gallery (CHG) in downtown Los Angeles presents the 10th edition of its “Art Collector Starter Kit” group show, an initiative designed to make art accessible to collectors of all financial backgrounds. This innovative exhibition, running from January 13 to February 17, 2024, features smaller, affordable 12″x 12″ artworks from more than 75 established and emerging artists from around the globe.
Jan Corey Helford, the visionary owner of the gallery, emphasizes that the fundamental aim of the ACSK is to challenge the notion that art is solely for the elite. By making art accessible to all, the gallery aspires to stir the hearts and minds of a broad audience, fostering a community where everyone can experience the joy and fulfillment of owning original art.
The ACSK X stands out for its vibrant diversity, with artworks spanning a multitude of mediums, including oil, acrylic, charcoal, sculpture, and installation. This year’s lineup features an eclectic mix of artists such as Adrian Cox, Bennett Slater, Brandi Milne, Camilla d’Errico, Chloe Early, Eric Joyner, and many more, showcasing an explosion of creativity and innovation.
The exhibition is open to the public and free of charge, running from January 13 to February 17, 2024. It is hosted at the Corey Helford Gallery, located at 571 S. Anderson St., Los Angeles, CA. Visitors are welcome Tuesday through Saturday, from 12:00 pm to 6:00 pm, with a special opening reception held on January 13, 2024, from 7:00 pm to 11:00 pm.
The ACSK X presents a prime opportunity for new collectors and art enthusiasts with limited budgets or space. The initiative not only allows for the acquisition of original pieces from favorite artists at accessible prices but also supports the broader mission of spreading art appreciation among the general public.
This year’s Art Collector Starter Kit group show not only celebrates a decade of making art accessible but also continues to inspire and engage art lovers from all walks of life. It’s a testament to the gallery’s commitment to fostering a vibrant, inclusive art community that values creativity and accessibility above all.
