Legend of Zelda Preorders Dish Out Hilarious Spoon and Fork Bonuses for Fans

Fans of the Legend of Zelda series who preorder the highly anticipated game, Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom on Amazon in Japan, are in for a treat.

GameStop is offering a free exclusive wooden plaque for anyone who purchases the standard or Collector’s Edition.

Those who preorder the standard edition will receive a special engraved spoon, while those lucky enough to get their hands on the Collector’s Edition will also receive a matching fork.

However, it seems that the utensil bonuses are exclusive to Japan, as they are currently unavailable outside the country.

The Collector’s Edition is already listed as “Currently Unavailable” and appears to be sold out.

Other Preorder Bonuses Around the World

For those outside Japan, various other preorder incentives are available.

GameStop is offering a free exclusive wooden plaque for anyone who purchases the standard or Collector’s Edition.

In the UK, all preorders on the My Nintendo Store will come with a Collector’s Coin and a leather luggage tag adorned with the TOTK logo.

Additionally, UK customers can choose to bundle their preorder with a leather-bound green notebook or a Collector’s Medal for an extra cost.

Upcoming Release and Price Details

The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is set to launch on May 12, exclusively on Nintendo Switch.

The standard version is priced at $69.99, making it the first $70 Switch game from Nintendo.

The Collector’s Deluxe Edition, which includes a physical copy of the game, a concept art booklet, a steelbook case, a poster, and a set of four enamel pins, will retail for $129.99.

Save on the Game with Nintendo Switch Online Membership

Each voucher can be redeemed for a single digital title, allowing buyers to save about $30 if they purchase Tears of the Kingdom along with another full-priced game.
